Sarah Jessica Parker is getting 'Divorce'

Sarah Jessica Parker, who played Carrie in 'Sex and the City', is all set to return with an upcoming American comedy series - 'The Divorce'. The show will premiere on HBO on October 9th. According to the trending news about 'Τhe divorce',  the story revolve around Frances, played by Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Robert played by Thomas Haden Church. Frances, is married with Robert and the couple has two children, she considers divorcing her husband and goes ahead with it; but then Robert discovers her secret affair!

The series follow a prolonged divorce procedure, where Robert becomes frantic when he finds out in detail about Frances affair. He goes on to lock her out of the house with an explanation 'I packed your essentials for you' and then hires a lawyer, who suggests 'as lousy as the marriage is, the divorce is gonna be much worse'. According to the hot and trending news about 'The divorce', a new TV series with Sarah Jessica Parker,  is going to be entirely different from Sarah Jessica Parker’s earlier role as Carrie in the 'Sex and the City'.

The official trailer for this kind of series opens with Sarah Jessica Parker saying 'I want a divorce', as a baffled Robert asks her if she is drunk. Molly Shannon plays Sarah Jessica Parker’s friend Diane in the movie, while Talia Balsam plays her other bestie. Diane supports Frances and also goes on to call her husband Robert, a 'monster', and their children 'half monsters'. As Frances gets a call from Robert’s lawyer, she goes on a spree and throws stones at the Robert’s house in an attempt to break the glass window and succeeds. Frances and Robert go to couples’ therapy in an attempt to sort out their problems. But the therapy too, turns into a disaster when Frances asks Robert 'I wanna get to a place where you can trust me, what would it take for us to get to that place?' To which Robert answers, 'time machine'.

According to the official trailer, as the story goes on, Frances will discover deeper connections to her husband and the two children. She will realize that they survive as individuals in a dying marriage, and that strong bonds still might exist. These realizations make the already tiring divorce even more emotionally taxing. The story is quite compelling in terms of the plot and setup.

Some exceptional comical turns and some occasional humorous pinches would really make the show quite adorable. The couple later realize that the awful lot of time they spend together unknowingly because of the divorce proceedings, might have brought them closer, and Frances is driven to uncertainty about the divorce as she says towards the end of the trailer 'it ended because it needed to end...right?' The trailer shows the couple gets closer and spend more cosy moments together; as they realize their old chemistry. Frances admits 'what we had was crazy...and fun' as she becomes more and more indecisive about the decision to divorce Robert. The show is yet to aired but has received a heavy appreciation already.
