Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 4: 'Book of the Stranger' preview

With the next Game of Thrones Season 6 episode 4 scheduled for May 15, 2016, HBO has released six photos along with information about the events due to take place in this episode.

Titled "Book of the Stranger", the fourth episode of Season 6 will also feature Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish who will be seen for the first time during this season.

Apart from this, HBO also unveiled a synopsis of the episode where Tyrion makes a deal while Jorah and Daario take it upon themselves to deal with a tough task. Finally, Jaime and Cersei, make efforts to improve their situation as well.

The photos released so far are solo shots of Tyrion and Littlefinger, Yara and Theon in the Iron Isles, Cerei and Jaime, another shot of Tyrion with Varys, Danny and the Khaal Priestess Dosh Khaleen and Daario and Jorah as well as one of Aunt Tyrell and Uncle Lannister.

With Episode 3 leaving fans wondering who Jon Snow’s real parents are, it seems as if this episode won’t be any different. It’s hardly clear as to what the episode’s title means in regards to the series.

As for the photos already released by HBO, Danny looks pretty miserable among the Dothraki Widows while Theon returns home. Without a doubt, Littlefinger will be reintroduced to fans during the course of episode as well. Also, it seems that Naharis and Jorah know where Daenerys is being and no doubt, want to free her. Of course, there’s a glimpse in the trailer where they fight the people who hold her captive.

Book Of The Stranger: A Short Preview

It doesn’t look like Sansa, Brienne and Podrick will be able to warn Jon of Ramsay’s moves during this episode, as the opening shot of the episode reveals their entry into Castle Black.

As for Theon returning to the Iron Islands, his sister will not necessarily be pleased to see him but will definitely feel sorry for his plight. That said, there's little doubt that he will hardly attempt to make a bid for the Lord of the Iron Islands title. However, he might just team up with his sister to kill their Uncle Euron who, in episode 2, killed their father.

As for Cersei, she wants to help Margaery avoid a “walk of the atonement” but Olenna knows better than to take her words (and assistance) at face value. Given that the matriarchs stand to gain from the fall of the High Sparrow, they just might be able to find a way to make peace if only for the time being.

And speaking of the reintroduction of Littlefinger, the trailer reveals his fear for the safety of Sansa and which he shares with his cousin, Robin Arryn. While it’s obvious that Littlefinger thrives on self-interest, there is definitely something to gain by keeping Sansa safe and which will include his cousin as well.

As for no shot of Jon Snow or Bran Stark in the trailer, it’s hard to tell where his first port of call will be. But he might hear of Ramsay’s presence at Winterfell in this episode and might decide what to do next given that he doesn’t have an army for a siege.

Last but not the least, the last episode’s trailer gave us a glimpse of the Tower of Joy but unfortunately, there has been no development on that front just yet. Who knows? He might have decided not to return or probably get inside when we see him next.
