Captain America: Civil War may require a vigil for War Machine

This follow up sequel to Captain America: Winter Soldier, has Chris Evans' Cap paired against Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man.

The reason for the big face off is traced back to a legal agreement proposed by the United Nations for all super-powered beings. This document, aimed at regulating the Avengers proposes that the Avengers take into account the Government opinion as to what consists an actionable threat. The legal documents are suspiciously titled the Sokovia Accords, after a Country dropped from heaven in the age of the Ultron.

Differences in opinion arise as soon as this requirement reaches the two main antagonists, Iron Man who is for political control and Cap who is against it. Cap’s suspicions arise from the time he served in SHIELD: an agency that turned out to be a front for the corrupt Hydra. Iron man and Caps’ convictions are so solidly grounded in their inner being. These are beliefs that the two live by and, if necessary, are ready to die for.

The division into Camps

The super-power world divide themselves into two camps, each with a strong motivation to support the leading protagonists in this battle.

On Captain America’s side, Bucky Banes quickly positions himself as a leading follower: an old friend of Rogers, he had been previously brainwashed by Hydra and is now functional on partial memory. Apparently the Winter Man also has different ideas about authority and a personal feud with Iron Man, he quickly sides with Cap.

The line up on Caps’ side also includes Falcon: A very close friend, and Sharon Carter (Agent 13), and daughter to Peggy Carter: Hopefully you do remember Peggy, one of the founders of SHIELD and Rodgers ex-lover. Assuming that Ant Mans’ stint in prison served to strengthen his resolve against authority, he firmly places himself on Caps’ Side.

Other interesting super-powered people on Caps’ side include; Scarlett Witch: Most likely for her very strong hatred against Iron Man and Stark Industries, Hawkeye: An interesting follower given that his friend Black Widow plays stands with the other side.

On Iron Mans’ side, Black Widow fights alongside The Vision: he interestingly has a very strong belief in the goodness of mankind. Speaking of which, it is worthy to note that Vision Head has a relationship with Scarlett Witch who fights alongside Cap, an interesting twist to a relationship.

Iron Man also has the support of his very good friend, War Machine, newcomer Black Panther: the leader of the Wakanda, and surprisingly: Spider-Man: a debut appearance in the sequel.

Other people in the movie

The sequel will also feature Everett Ross as one of the characters sharing a close link with Black Panther, he is set to feature as a spokesperson for the United Nations. Iron Man’s partner Pepper Potts is also set to play a small but key role in the sequel.

Other interesting twists

Another rivalry that will play out in the sequel is that between the Villains Crossbones: who now bears an armor and is set to cause some havoc in the early parts of the movie.

Baron Zemo is also set to take part in the sequel. It is speculated that in role in the movie will most likely be small, although we are waiting with bated breath.

As we rap u this spoiler alert it would be interesting idea to hold a vigil for War Machine, he appears dead in Iron Man’s arms.
