The Huntsman: Winters War shines with star studded cast

This soon to be released movie brings a star studded cast to audiences as the follow-up to the previous movie, Snow White and the Huntsman. This prequel to the former movie promises both an amazing cast of well-known actors as well as a very interesting storyline. Both of these together should offer the audience an unforgettable experience.

The cast brings back Chris Hemsworth as the Hunter and Charlize Theron as the evil Queen Ravenna. These amazing actors are joined in the movie by Emily Blunt as Queen Ravenna’s sister, Freya, and Jessica Chastain as the woman the Hunter falls in love with, Sara. Having such an amazing mix of all four of these actors as well as others that are so well-known and liked within Hollywood and with fans promises to be an amazing mix of talent. This talent should bring an intriguing storyline to the big screen.

The storyline itself is one of the major elements that is currently being talked about among many of the most well-respected news sources. Winter’s War introduces more information about the Hunter and Queen Ravenna’s characters while giving the viewer much more information about a background that was only touched on briefly during Snow White and the Huntsman. This background explains exactly what ends the evil Queen is willing to go to in order to maintain her position as the fairest in all the land and introduces the Huntsman and how he came to meet the wife that meant so much to him in Snow White and the Huntsman.

This plotline seems to be doing an excellent job of reeling in the audiences so far. Although the release date in the United States is April 22nd, the movie has already been released in several foreign countries. The countries in which the movie is already showing are definitely something to keep an eye on for a couple reasons. The trends that we can see with these audiences may help predict what the outcome of the release here in the United States may be like. Several of these countries have seen the movie open at number one at each of their box offices. In particular, the countries where the movie was ranked number one include the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and Mexico. This is a list that may continue to increase as the movie is released in more locations over the next few weeks.

Although the estimated total so far comes in at only $21.3 million, it still has many more markets that it is going to be opening at before it finally makes its opening debut in America. This movie is showing that it can hold its own against its current contenders such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. That it is doing so well against a movie that is already released in the United States bodes well for the outcome of the release of The Huntsman: Winter’s War. This movie will definitely be one to watch as it gets nearer to the American release date.
