Next Spider-Man movie's name accidentally revealed by Sony

Spider-Man has repeatedly been amongst the coolest and most popular superheroes. A large number of fans are constantly looking for updates from the Sony world to figure out more about their next Spidey movie. With so many things to manage, Sony might have just accidentally revealed the name of their next Spider-Man movie.

BBC recently reported that a Sony has acquired a website by the name of spidermanhomecomingthemovie.com. Going on this link redirects the user to SonyPictures.com. Although there have been no official statements from Sony or Marvel about the name of the next Spider-Man movie, this could be a clear indication. Recently Sony and Marvel signed an agreement which will allow Spider-Man to appear in Marvel films while it will also allow Marvel characters to appear in Spider-Man movies. There is a chance that the fans may be wrong while assuming that Spider-Man: Homecoming is the name of the next movie, but then again this is how the Bond fans figured out the name of Skyfall too.

Marvel fans were left awestruck when the trailer for Captain America: Civil War was released and it featured Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

The image of Spider-Man wielding Captain America's shield was still fresh inside the minds of people when news came that Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. were shooting for something together in Atlanta, Georgia which is also the location where the next Spider-Man movie is being shot. Watching Iron Man, Captain America and Spider-Man together may already sound like an awesome deal but there might be a better part to this story too.

As the news came that spidermanhomecomingthemovie.com was redirecting people to Sony's official website, it became clear that Sony is considering "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as the title for its next project. This project could be the next Spider-Man reboot movie or the animated Spider-Man movie made by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Keeping in mind the recent tie up between Marvel and Sony, it's more likely to be linked to the former one.

Homecoming appears to be a strange name for this genre but this movie is certainly not based around emotional family dinners. The plot for the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming can be related to the comic books. Homecoming is related to Spider-Man #252 which was published in 1984. The storyline shows Peter Parker as he returns back to Earth from the Beyonder's world. An unseen entity had kidnapped all Marvel heroes and villains in Battleworld to make them fight each other and Spider-Man came and freed them. The audience will be able to see a 15 year old Peter Parker go to high school in this Spider-Man reboot movie. The movie features Iron Man and Captain America, along with other Marvel characters including Thor, Hawkeye, Wasp and War Machine as well.

Watching Peter Parker discover the powers of Venom is truly exhilarating and Sony has often exceeded people's expectations. The movie may be an episode of a series as the storyline features various villains including Lizard and Black Cat and different Marvel heroes make their appearances throughout the series.

I can't wait to see Captain America: Civil War and thinking about this movie is so much more breathtaking for a hardcore Spidey fan girl. While Sony may have accidentally revealed the name of their movie, it is definitely generating a lot of buzz about this movie which will only be released next year in 2017. Guess there's no such thing as bad publicity for Spider-Man!
