When 'there is no tomorrow'

'No Tomorrow' is frequently thought of as an action thriller directed by a rapper with a top notch cast, fast action, and fun toys. However two other movies have the same title. The second is a documentary and the third is a crime mystery based on a true story. In the next paragraphs, all three of these movies will be highlighted, although no connection is apparent other than their titles.

The first 'No Tomorrow' film, is a jam packed fast action thriller, created in the late 90s. Audiences on Imbd give an average ratings of 3.8 out of 10. Directed by Master P and written by Terry Cunningham, scenes of drugs, sex, impressive aircraft, explosives, fast women, illegal weapons, and brokering deals is graced with the presence of 1990s movie stars Master P, himself, Garey Busy, and George Heung. George Heung managed to continue his career with an appearance in The Pursuit of Happiness. Other actors who continue to make appearances today include: Pam Grier has gone on to The L Word, Jaff Fahey made an appearance in Quentin Tarantinos Planet Terror, Jodi Biana Wise acted in The Prestige and Final Encounter: For the Cause, Jerry Vale appeared in Nutty Professor II, Gina Mari appeared in several good flicks including Disturbia, Transformers, and Tears of the Sun, Clifton Powell acted in Ray, Norbit, and 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’, and Ariane Von Kamp stared in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and The Perfect Storm. Most recently, 'Lost in the Pacific', which comes out this year stars Bobby Tonelli.

Although the film is currently lowly rated, the quality of actors appears high. Another indication of a high profile film are the numerous aircraft which appeared throughout. Aircraft such as Gulfstream G-1159A Gulfstream III, Bell 206B JetRanger II, Douglas C-133 Cargomaster, Fairchild C-123K Provider, Boeing 737-300, Convair 880, McDonnell Douglas QF-4 Phantom II, Cessna 310D, and the Boeing 747-131 starred throughout the film giving the cast the appearance of big money spenders and constantly on the move living a high life. Overall, No Limit Records and No Limit Films record the film to be a success despite the some of the bad reviews.

The second 'No Tomorrow' include is a crime investigation. This film concerns the real life murder of a teenager, Risa Bejarano, who left foster care, and her murder trial which challenged beliefs of the death penalty. Taking place in Los Angeles, California, this version of 'No Tomorrow’ is a PBS film produced and directed by Roger Weisberg and Vanessa Roth. Premiered in 2011, the movie consists of interviews from attorneys, detectives, eyewitnesses, Risa family, and any other people involved to give a more in depth look at the murder trial itself.

The last, 'No Tomorrow' film is a Korean crime (investigation) mystery, which comes out this year 21 February. Directed by Lee Ji-seung and written by Jang Jae-il and Lee Ji-Seung, Korean actors such as Park Hyo, Lee Hyun Wook, Bae Sung Woo, and Choi Il Hwa are in this movie. The main lead is a reporter played by Lee Hye-Ri who investigates an unfortunate and mysterious case located on a remote island. This version of 'No Tomorrow' is based on a true story.
