Jane Fonda & Robert Redford On ScreenTogether After Decades

Jane Fonda & Robert Redford, both of these brilliant and extraordinary actors have been awarded Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement award’ by Venice Film Festival. Moreover, they are now starring in a Netflix original film "Our Souls at Night" which is set to world premiere at 74th film fest edition. This is considered to be in the out of the competition slot.

The movie" Our Souls at Night" is produced by Erin Simms, Redford and Finola Dwyer and is directed by Ritesh Batra. This movie is set to release under the Redford’s Wildwood Enterprises banner. It is important to note here that the screening of this film will take place in Palazzo del Cinema on September 1st, 2017. Before the screening, the award giving ceremony will be held to give Jane Fonda and Robert Redford a lifetime achievement award.

They previously worked together in 1967’s Barefoot in the Park.

This movie is special as Robert and Fonda will appear on the screen together after decades. Their first time appeared together in the film, "The Electric Horsemen", back in the year 1979. Now, once again, these stars will once again appear together on the screen in "Our Soul tonight" film. This film is based on Kent Haruf novel and the screenplay is adapted by Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter. The film is set in Colorado and based on the characters Louis Waters (Robert Redford) and Addie Moore (Jane Fonda). The storyline is that Addie pays an unexpected visit to Louis, his neighbor. They are both neighbors in a small town for decades and Addie’s husband and Louis’s wife had died many years ago. They seldom had any contact and this is how their story progresses as they form a bond.

Netflix will be releasing "Our Souls Tonight" next year internationally.
