The much-anticipated episode 3 of the "Game of Thrones" season 7 certainly upholds the expectations of fans all over the world. The episode certainly has its fair share of drama and emotional turmoil that will set the stage for the development of consequent episodes. The general theme of the episode signifies the much-awaited justice of Queen Cersei for the death of her son and daughter. However, the meeting between two protagonists proves to be the start of a coalition that will reign over the great Westeros. Moreover, the reunion of two siblings who had not seen each other for years arouses mixed feeling among fans. The episode also provides a glimpse of the defiant, much praised Casterly Rock.

Meeting of Queen and King
It starts with a rendezvous between the Northern bustard, John Snow and the unburnt mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen. Daenerys gives John a comprehensive background of herself and her great achievements, however, the Northern King is unperturbed. The scuffle between the two leaders ends on a low note as John believes that he would become the Queen’s Captive. He also acknowledges that he literally made a fool of himself by ignoring the counsel to his fellow northerners. Nonetheless, with a complete turn of events, John is reprieved by the Queen after Tyrion convinces her to allow John to mine Dragon glass from Dragonstone. The meeting definitely signifies the start of a long coalition.
This was an episode that teased at the distances between characters.
The Revenge of Cersei Lannister
Cersei maliciously seized the throne at Kings Landing by killing a considerable chunk of her enemies. Nonetheless, with full power in her grasp, she is more inclined to draw blood in her pursuit of more glory. The priceless gift from Euron Greyjoy couldn’t have come at an opportune time for her. Cersei openly receives Ellaria Sand from Euron and then names him the head of her fleet of ships. On the other hand, Cersei also kills Ellaria’s daughter with poison in a vengeful fit amid protests from her, just the same way her daughter was killed. _Jaime Lanniste_r, the brother of Cersei, poisons Ollena Tyrel who turns out to be the killer of Joffery. With the murders of her children put aside, could Cersei be on the brink of yet another predicament given that Euron intends to marry her?
Will Daenerys really allow Jon to head back to the North when she desperately needs allies to combat Cersei?
The reunion of siblings
The long hug between Sansa Stark and Bran Stark for the first time in as many years could be the standout of the week. However, there is definitely more than meets the eye. For one, Bran has grown cold towards Sansa after a period of endless struggles further north among the White Walkers. Is his emotionless character justified despite his terrible encounters? On the contrary, Bran wasn’t the favorite of the Stark family.
Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen can wait to find their heroism.
Casterly Rock
The revelation of the Casterly Rock isn’t as eventful as expected. The fact that the unsullied received very little resistance is certainly a buzz kill.
All in all, the "Game of Thrones" s7 e3 is certainly epic. However, the next episode seems to be juicier as fans expect the reunion between John Snow and his siblings, Arya Stark and Bran Stark.
