The Next Great Disney's Film 'Mulan' is happening!

Good news folks, Walt Disney Pictures, recently just announced that they would retell the classic animated hit 'Mulan' into a reboot action film. Announced on Tuesday, this movie will be released on November 2nd, 2018 and the best part; it will show in 3D.

At the moment, the studio is launching a global casting search to find a Chinese actress to play Mulan. This is not only excellent news but also Disney’s way of assurance to the fans that this movie will be faithful to the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. Moreover, there have been a lot of positive feedbacks from fans on social media regarding about the Disney’s choice of path to find the right casting actress.

The original animated film was released in 1998, which was not only well received by critics and the public but also was nominated for Golden Globe and Academy Award. Not only that, this classic animated film grossed up to $304 million. Not to mention, this classic 1998 film featured the voices of Ming-Na Wen, who not only provided the voice of Mulan but currently known for her role as the kickass character, Melinda May in the ABC drama action series 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', Eddie Murphy, Miguel Ferrer, and B.D Wong.

In the past, Walk Disney Pictures had received several slash backs on several controversial issues regarding about casting typical Hollywood stereotypes in traditional Asian roles, to name the few; Scarlett Johansson in 'Ghost in the Shell' and Tilda Swinton in 'Doctor Strange'.

But more importantly, let’s just focus for a moment on how this movie is going to be so good as it’s going to be released as a live-action film! Unlike the original classic, this live-action reboot will not be a musical film.

Furthermore, it has been announced that Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver have come onboard to rewrite the script. Listen, folks, if you don’t know who these screenwriters are, you’re missing out in life. Now only they are known for writing 'Jurassic World', which by the way was the fourth highest grossing film of all time but also they are husband and wife. At the same time, Jason Reed, Jake Weiner, and Chris Bender have been brought onboard to produce the film. At the moment, there is no news regarding about the director for the reboot live-action Mulan, and it will be announced soon.

Furthermore, this is not their first live-action film, which Disney has taken on. They have successfully rebooted several classics, to name a few; 'Maleficent', 'Cinderella' and recently 'The Jungle book', which was a great commercial success, grossing over $966 million, making it the 31st highest grossing films of all time.

On the other hand, Walt Disney Studios are in their next preparation to release the latest film, 'Beauty and the Beast', which is to be released on March 17th, 2017. Not to forget, this latest live-action film starts one and only Emma Watson, who we all love and adore from her Harry Potter's days.

Well, folks, let’s hope for the best that Walt Disney Studio doesn’t mess up the casting nor the plot for this live-action Mulan.
