Matthew McConaughey's face-off in 'Free State of Jones'

The newest movie in the latest line of McConaissance (so glad this is a thing – you can never have enough Matthew McConaughey) is none other that the acclaimed: Free State of Jones.

As such it has everyone (including us) excited. Not even to make mention of the excitement from the die-hard Matthew McConaughey fans who get to see him as a rough-and-rugged farmer in this Civil War drama. And what is not to love about his rugged appearance? In the movie the farmer Newton Knight; portrayed by the Matthew McConaughey; drops the Confederate banner that he was following for so long, to start up his own rebellion against the Confederation - who just takes whatever they want from whoever, without even giving a thought to the people affected by some of their actions.

Keri Russell and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are his co-stars and play Matthew's first and second wife (I know ladies - we are also jealous).

The video clip of Matthew McConaughey facing off against a Confederate Leader has taken the web (and therefore the world) by storm - and his adoring fans just can't get enough of watching his rough-and rugged character stand toe-to-toe and face-to-face with a Confederate Leader; defending his farm in an ow-so satisfying way. At one point our hero (could he be anything but a hero?) holds a knife up to his enemies neck and we are left holding our breaths for the outcome.

To his fans this clip is just the epitome of his talents, and just proves once again why he is the star he is. Even through sporting a beard, and the discolored teeth - he still has everyone swooning over him; evident in the amount of views this clip has generated.

In the clip, we are shown the Newton Knight (Matthew McConaughey) as he defends his farm from the Confederation as they try to steal his farms corn. His line: "You see, Lieutenant, you steal our corn, we got nothing to feed the hogs. We can’t feed the hogs, we got nothing to put in the smokehouse. We got nothing to put in the smokehouse, we starve in the winter. That’s murder, ain’t it?" from the Movie is already famous - I can't imagine how it's going to be after the movie is actually released.

The movies release date is on tweny fourth in the month of June, the year 2016 (24 June 2016); and the we; along with the rest of the world can't wait to see the outcome of this already famous confrontation between farmer and Confederate leader.

We can guarantee that the clip is worth seeing; whether or not you believe in the McConaissance or follow Matthew evolution as an actor – this movie is shaping up to be another great Matthew McConaughey movie. If you have not seen the clip yet; or would just like to drool over Matthew some more; you can watch it on 'Daily Motion' (here).
