The X-Men Apocalypse mystery: Gambit or Nate Grey?

After losing some of its momentum, due to early reviews that claimed the movie to be mediocre at best, X-Men Apocalypse is trying to do some damage containment. Because of the critics reviews, the movie directors fear that the audience could lose some of their interest, even if the series is a popular one and people are going to see it, regardless of the critics opinions. But the thing that scares the producers is that people might go to the movie with some ideas of what to expect and most importantly, what not to expect. The influence of the reviews are obvious, so X-Men Apocalypse might very well be under the expectations set by its predecessors. So they are making sure that Wolverine, the most loved and popular figure of the series, is going to make another appearance. People are going to learn about his faith and will not be left hanging, as expected by early reviews.

The post credits scene is going to contain a namedrop for people to regain their confidence. The character that will be named will feature heavily in the upcoming movie. This is set to be a major factor in the series and it is believed to be a great move by the studio.

The most controversial character in the X-Men universe is, without a doubt, Gambit. Gambit's future is uncertain and many predict him to be the next major movie of the studio. Although not as popular as Wolverine or Rogue, he plays an important part in the series and is believed to be one of the most charismatic characters in the X-Men universe. But one question remains. Why did one of the producers from the mentioned studio say that Gambit will feature heavily in the next movie? Well, it's his name in the title, so naturally. Or maybe he is just going to make an appearance. Who knows? But then, who is going to be the next main character. Or is it just going to be another collective movie about the whole franchise? Nevertheless, fans are awaiting some answers, and they are going to be pissed if they don't get the ones they are looking for. So the questions remains, the bad reviews also. Well, not quite bad, but mediocre. And mediocre means bad for a franchise that is known to produce the best movies in the world.

With millions and millions of dollars in records, the studio is going to seek another way, if the movie is going to do bad. And by the studio's standards, it just might.

Also, we are going to see a lot of Cable, a character that hasn't really been that known and is kind of new to the public. Cable, or Nate Grey, whatever suits you, is a gun yielding character from the X-Men Universe. He might not have the same amount of notoriety as wolverine. So, the things are quite clear, Gambit and Nate Grey are sure to feature in the next movies. Question is, how much?
