Phil Lord and Chris Miller's animated Lego Batman Movie

We were all saddened when Chris Nolan revealed that he would not direct another Batman movie. Many were left wondering how a director could turn down such a privileged opportunity. Well, we can still count on the Lego Batman Movie. A blend of fun, action and humor gives the whole plot a new lifeline.

Fans are currently bombarding the internet for any trinkets of information on the Lego Batman Movie. Most people were thrilled with the delightful animated success The Lego Movie witnessed in 2014. For a while it was ranked as the year’s top grossing film production. Why not pursue the concept more? The original has now given birth to a spinoff with the highly popular Batman character taking center stage. Millions of people were excited when Chris Miller and Phil Lord revealed a couple of side plot spinoffs during one of those Reddit Ask Me Anything sessions.

During one of the online Q&A sessions one of the writing and directing team guys was asked if the movie will take a musical dimension. Its then that Lord and Miller revealed that that will not be the case. Revealing nuggets of information is a great way of building the anticipation and hype prior release and they did it perfectly.

All eyes will be on Will Arnett who will take the role of Batman in the film. The comedic adventure in the film has generated a lot of mystery and suspense. On many occasions Will has proven that his gravy voice has the perfect resonance and punch to befit the Batman role. Picture him singing Franklin’s “It Ain’t Easy Being White.” Batman’s song in the Lego Movie.

The producers want to honor all eras of Batman. We can anticipate the George Clooney armor or the Adam West classic. Lord and Miller also confessed that they will merge the gritty and dark Christian Bale crusader hero with the go nuts’ Michael Keaton Dark Knight. What’s still unclear is if any of Batman’s previous actors will lend their vocals. Industry gossip indicate that there might be a high possibility of that happening.

I bet Will Arnett’s batman proves to be a major dick. As much as the Lego Movie centers its concept on delivering humor, it will be an uphill task for Chris McKay (director) and Seth Grahame-Smith (writer) to synchronize the animated superhero with both character traits.

We are assured of a classic production as long as we have two of Hollywood’s finest producers working on the film. They have assembled a great team to ensure that the films makes a strong Box Office Debut. The Lego Batman Movie will dominate 2017 and will then be followed by its sequel in 2018. The ball is now in their court.

This movie is perfect fodder for those who constantly ask, can the Batman be happy? This might be a shocker for many considering how the character underwent a horrific troublesome past. Witnessing the death of his parents was no easy fit for a youngster. Viewers should expect a comedic spin to the gritty Batman story. Others wonder just how the Batmobile will look like.
