Negan's arrival on The Walking Dead

This season, fans of Walking Dead are on the edges of their seats, as they wait with bated breath for the introduction of Negan, the next and possibly the biggest Big Bad in this series. It even seems as though The Walking Dead’s writers already know how much we are waiting, and have decided to drop hints like mad.

For those in the dark, Negan was first introduced on The Walking Dead comics during the 100th issue whereby he was the leader of the group referred to as The Saviors. This group used violence and fear to control different communities for example in Alexandria, and has been really influential to the course of this comic series ever since its introduction.

But despite the numerous teases, it looks like Negan, a character played by Dean Morgan, will not be seen till the current season’s finale which is set for April 3. Rumors have it that season six’s final episode will be titled “Something to Fear.” Negan is expected to give Rick and the rest of the survivors something to fear once he finally catches up with this group.

According to the synopsis of the fifth Episode of the comic group which is titled “East,” the group will lose one member after one among them goes missing. They will then send out several search parties to look for that missing person, and instead they will find Negan. Don’t forget that as of right now Negan is really angry at Rick and following the attacks on his compound as well as the deaths several members of Saviors, he is out for revenge.

"The Walking Dead" season 6

In the comic book, the first person who dies through Negan’s orders was Abraham. We have known this all along, but it now looks as though the time has come. Abraham’s death will be Negan’s payback for what Rick and his group did to him. After the death of Abraham, Dwight will take hostage of Eugene. If this plays out during the TWD finale, it is a setup for an even much bigger death.

Negan got his revenge when he took out one among Rick’s best soldiers. He now wants to teach him a big lesson. Keep in mind that for a year or so now, Robert Kirkman and many other characters have talked a lot about how violent Negan is. In the comic book, the lesson is taught when he catches Rick and other members of his group while heading to the Hilltop. This is when he rounds all of them up and chooses which one to kill.

Whoever Negan kills in the finale of Season 6 finale doesn’t matter because The Walking Dead will still end in a shocking death. This will give Rick a big reason to fight with Negan till only one among them remains standing. The great hatred they have for each other may likely continue through to Season 7 and beyond.

With just 3 episodes remaining till the finale of Season 6, prepare yourself for a thrilling ride to the end till finally know who Negan will kill. There will be several months of waiting until Season seven starts and The Walking Dead fans can wish for Ricks’ revenge on Negan as well as wait to see how the upcoming deaths will affect the survivors.
