Recently, the 39 year old actor is back on being the A-list superstar that he is. This is all thanks to his smash hit movie called Deadpool. It is incredibly breaking all sorts of box office records. On its first week of business alone, it has already grossed a massive $180 million. The movie is expected to gain more than $50 million in its second week. This is by far the highest grossing movie of Ryan Reynolds' career. The 2013 animated motion picture, The Croods, which he starred in earned a decent $187 million in total but Deadpool has obviously beaten it to the top spot. He also recently guested in the Ellen DeGeneres show to promote his movie. It was aired on February 17th, 2016. Ryan openly talked about James who is his beautiful fourteen month old daughter. He also made fans more excited about the movie as he announced that he got naked in some scenes. After that, he participated in a game where he got dunked in a dunk tank to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation. Another TV appearance that he was in recently was The Late Late Show with James Corden. He enthusiastically got back into his career in Deadpool and made a hilarious sketch for the show. James Corden tried on a very elaborate selection of costumes which was so quirky and hilarious. Some of them were Strawberry Shortfuse, The Iceman, Potato Man, and a clam which was all set up to convince Ryan the he needs to have an on-screen sidekick. It was epic.

He uploaded it himself to his Twitter account pleasing his followers. He said, "It's been 5 years since X-men Origins f*ck this shit. I've got the biggest opening Rated-R movie of all time. Are they f*cking crazy?" It was a very good portrayal and he has satisfied the fans' request in more ways than they originally planned. Because of Deadpool's success, it already has a sequel in the works. It has also started gathering a really huge fan base around the world. It was a crazy weekend for Ryan at the box office as he became the center of attention in Hollywood for his amazing acting in Deadpool. The film isn't just an extremely successful superhero movie, it also is the biggest break Ryan Reynolds has had in his entire career. He is indeed a box office champion and a deserving leading man. In hindsight, Deadpool could've been a nightmare. But because Ryan Reynolds was very patient, waited for a decade to find the perfect crew who knew exactly how to make the film he wanted, all his efforts paid off in the end.
