Action packed and intense, The legend of Tarzan in 3D, is poised to debut in June

Taunted as one the biggest movies of the year, The Legend of Tarzan with a production budget of $180 million, is set for a worldwide debut on June 1, 2016. Starring Alexander Skarsgard, the action adventure movie revolves around Tarzan, a legendary figure who roamed the African jungle before trading in his loin’s skin for the gentrified life in London, as Lord Greystoke.
Filming of this epic film took place over a period of four months at the Warner Bro’s owned Leavesden Studios in the UK, commencing on June 30, 2014, and finishing four months later, on October 3.

Co-produced by some of the largest studios in the world including Warner Bros, Village Roadshow, Jerry Weintraub and Dark Horse entertainment, the movie holds the sweet promise of a chartbuster. The movie producers will dedicate the movie to Jerry Weintraub who died on July 2015.
The movie, which features a star-studded cast, including Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie ,Christoph Waltz and Djimon Hounsou promises a thrilling experience that will take the world by storm and have viewers on the edge of their seats.
The storyline line follows the life of the now respectable John Clayton III as he settles back into his original skin as Tarzan after the evil Belgian mastermind, Captain Rom, unwittingly lures him back into the Congo as a parliamentary emissary.
Alexander Skarsgard, who underwent a grueling four months training regimen to create the picture perfect image of the ripped Tarzan, said his character unwraps and unravels as the movie unfolds. Tarzan, Skarsgard says, sheds every little bit of refinement and embraces his instinctive animalistic nature as he ruthlessly deals with the convergence of revenge and greed represented by a peculiar mining company with a huge interest in his former home.

The movie poster features a half-naked Skarsgard with a dangerous look on his face, standing in the rain letting his ripped body and dangerous frame of mind attest to the intensity of the film’s action-packed scenes. The lone figure cuts the image of rogue element gone wild while the beautifully sculpted body is likely to get the women swooning and ogling unreservedly and the menfolk smiling in reserved embarrassment.
Skarsgard, picked as the perfect fit by director David Yates because of his background, beat many other big names including the world-renowned swimmer Michael Phelps, who was eyeing to make a debut into the movie industry. Tarzan’s love interest Jane Porter, played by Margot Robbie from the Wolf of the Wall Street, was highly competitive with more than ten women including Emma Stone, considered for the role.

Christoph Waltz plays the conniving villain who manages to capture Tarzan and hold him for a diamond ransom. Djimon Hounsou plays the local Congolese chief.

The journey that led to the productions of this highly anticipated blockbuster movie began more than a decade ago. John August, an American film director, and screenwriter was commissioned to write a big-budget movie feature on the character Tarzan. Ironically, Warner Bros had shot down the production of the movie in April of 2013 due to high budget but late gave the green light in December of the same year.
