Genius Belgian detective Hercule Poirot investigates the murder of an American tycoon aboard the Orient Express train.
Here comes one more movie from the famous detective novel by Agatha Christie. After completing an important assignment at Allepo, the main character detective Hercule Poirot traveled to Istanbul to have a leisurely stay. Hercule Poirot is the famous fictional character of a major collection of novels written by Agatha Christie. On arriving at the hotel, he is greeted by a telegram. The telegram orders him to cancel all his arrangements and return to London. Being urgent, Poirot demands the concierge to immediately fetch him details about possible ways to reach London at the earliest. With the Orient express being the only means of reaching London immediately, Poirot plans to get on it. The journey on-board the Orient express was expected to be of two and a half days. The plot revolves around this journey onboard the Orient Express. Despite being an unusual time for the journey, the express was packed with travelers. Poirot somehow managed to get a seat on-board after a recommendation. The journey was smooth and the train was running as expected. Poirot is surprised to find a man approaching him for his help. The man sounded worried about his life and needed Poirot to protect him against this threat to his life. The journey on the first day went on smooth. It was only until the second night when Poirot was awakened by a painful cry that came from one of the compartments. This smooth journey turned into a threatening experience when Ratchett, a man on-board, who sought help from Poirot, was found murdered in his own compartment. Poirot was taken aback to witness this unpleasant event during the journey. He, with his witty brain and companions like Monsieur Bouc, took the reins of investigation in his hand. With the train stuck between the ice-clad tracks due to snowdrift, everyone turned out to be a suspect for Poirot. The entire investigation revolved around four clues found nearby the body. With time being the constraint, this race of finding the murderer turned exciting when Poirot started interviewing each person on-board. The detective was left in surprise to see how each one had an alibi for the other. Rather than simplifying the investigation process, this interview made it more difficult to question the credibility of any person. However, with the firm determination to solve the mystery of murder, Poirot continued to weave the series of events together and made a few smart guesses to complete the path of events. With one strong clue relating to the past of the victim, the entire plot laid clear for Poirot. He had to ponder upon certain points that needed to be confirmed. The four clues involved in the investigation included a charred piece of paper, a smashed
