Does this mean an engagement for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

The charming Prince Harry hasn't always been lucky in love. Two years ago in an interview, he was talking about how much he wanted to find a girl to share his royal life. While many girls would love to call this cutie their prince charming, it looks like he is now officially off the market.

On Monday, Prince Harry went to the wheelchair tennis event at the international event Invictus Games. He was accompanied by Meghan Markle, the Toronto based actor in the USA Network original series "Suits". They were seen holding hands as they approached the venue at Toronto City Hall. Which, if you have been following the royal family is a big deal.

Royal couple Prince Harry and  Meghan Markle were spotted attending a friend’s wedding on March 3, 2017

Both William and Harry are not big on the PDA. William and his beautiful wife the Duchess Kate Middleton are renown for keeping a polite composure in public. They are seen as England's royal ambassadors when it comes to official public events, and they take the job seriously. Even though Harry has had some trouble in the past with his public image, in the last couple of years he has been impeccable in his presentation in public. So having an affectionate outing with the lovely Ms. Markle is noteworthy. They were seen familiarly touching and having intimate conversations while watching the wheelchair tennis event.

Does this affectionate outing at a highly publicized event mean an impending marriage is on the way? A lot of people say yes!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been dating for nearly a year now. At the beginning, they were both insistent on privacy. Starting a new relationship under the gaze of rabid paparazzi would be intimidating. Meghan Markle is an American actor, model, and humanitarian. She gave an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year where she talked about her relationship with Prince Harry. Having their first public outing after this interview sounds just like wedding bells to me!

Meghan Markle at Vanity Fair, "We're two people who are very happy and in love"

The two looked happy and casual while attending the Paralympic wheelchair match. Meghan Markle looked stunning and comfortable in a pale button-down and jeans. It looked like through the sporting event, Harry was explaining some of the rules of how wheelchair tennis differs from the version Meghan might be more familiar with.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Invictus Games, Toronto, Canada on 25 Sep 2017

Harry started the Invictus Games Foundation, international Paralympic games for wounded, injured or sick veterans. Harry was involved in the military for years. Including active duty in Afghanistan in 2007-2008. Ever since, even though official royal duties have kept him from serving, he has been an active supporter of causes for veterans. Therefore, this is a cause that is near and dear to his heart.

So, it is truly mean that this event was the first public appearance of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a couple. It also helps that Toronto is Markle's home city, showing that the outing is connected to both of them. After this public outing event, I don't think anyone will be surprised if their next announcement is about an engagement.
