Ladies' Beauty Tips From Hollywood Stars and Celebrities

You probably already know that Alba is a major beauty insider. By that we mean she learned the ropes from her beautician mother when she was still a kid, often does her own makeup (not exactly common in Hollywood), and has a major passion for the product.

Hello there, welcome to another blog post, today we’re going a little sexist, this article is totally for the ladies, and like you’ve seen in the title, it’s about how to pull off that gorgeous and stunning look you’ve always wished for. We’ve all had those moments where you see Angelina Jolie on screen, Kim Kardashian on the red carpet, or the legendary Beyoncé Knowles - Queen Bey in a music video and you just zone out and day dream, starting to imagine yourself with their pretty figures, flat bellies, lustrous lips, perfectly smooth face…

Hey snap out of it, and you’re back on your couch with your stress lined face, a slightly flabby tummy, wondering if you’ll ever be able to look better than you are presently, but the fact is this, the A-list celebrities are humans too with all the biological processes that occur in our bodies going through theirs too, of course, they’re rich enough to afford a lot of things that are way beyond your pay check, but here’s a list of some basic, simple beauty tips from Hollywood stars that are still affordable and can help you a little further on your journey to becoming miss gorgeous.

Water Water Water: Hey don’t roll your eyes, we know you’ve heard this so much it sounds (or looks since you’re reading this) so cliché, but it’s still first on our list of beauty tips from Hollywood, and the role of water in keeping your skin hydrated and fresh can just not be over emphasized. Rather than your standard cup of coffee or sugar-infested soda drink, why not grab a glass of water instead, it’ll help flush your system and skin and there’s also the added advantage of helping you stay in shape and look trim and sexy. Hollywood star America Ferrera testifies to her skin flourishing when she increased her water intake.

Eat Healthy and Veggie: Another seemingly moot point, but you can never really overstate the basics. A healthy diet is unnegotiable if you’re going to look anywhere as charming as your favorite screen divas. Cutting back on fries and canned food, and being more into vegetables and healthy proteins is a sure banker in looking good, Angelina Jolie is a good example of stars who watch what they eat, and we all can see how well that is working out for her.

Dewy Make up: In choosing your beauty products, you might want to be more into moisture based makeup, be it lipstick, foundation, or mascara. Dry powder and other less moisturized make up kits tend to make your face lined and all wrinkled as you grow older. Freida Pinto even goes as far as recommending dewy lids, claiming that “the application of petroleum jelly on your lids gives you a dewy, angelic look”

Sleep and Relax: This is another tip that doesn’t cost absolutely anything and is as effective as it can get, cut down on all the stress and just take some time out to chill and get some hours of sleep and your body will thank you for it. There’s a reason why it’s called “beauty sleep”.

Smile: Yeah, there’s nothing as natural and good looking on you as a genuine, honest smile. No matter how crazy your day is you can always manage a smile, it makes you look more attractive and charming. Blue Ivy’s mum and Jay Z’s be (You can spell it, Bey, if you like, pun intended) has this to say “A woman is most beautiful when she smiles”, a smile loosens up your facial muscles, and helps you feel good from the inside, which will, in the long run, contribute to your looking good on the outside.

Work out and Exercise: The last on our list of beauty tips from Hollywood, nothing good comes cheap or easy, you want to look good? You gotta work for it, ask Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, or even Beyoncé among others, these ladies undergo strength training and cardio to maintain their flat stomachs and hourglass figures, and you should do the same.
